Today I was college watching it with my some of the people I sayang. Yan, Fad, Anushya and Charlotte. Had many thoughts about how the movie was going to be like, especially since some people said it was nice and some said the opposite.
Personally, I think it's nice but not GREAT. Maybe a very respectable 7/10. Lots of plot elements and book stuff were taken out to make the movie move faster. I don't particularly mind that, but the best part was the essence of all the romance was there, and it fueled you with this "ah....." feeling.
Maybe should say something about my thoughts. Of course Edward Cullen doesn't really exist, but I can't help but feel intimidated by his character. I mean, he's brave and romantic and extremely able, but I'm not. Kinda makes me feel bad for not being the 'perfect guy' for a very deserving girl.
Overall, I loved the movie, but even more than that, I love the people I was with. I feel very at peace with them around. Even though Yan and Anushya were like oooh and ahhhing every 5 minutes (literally!!), and drove Charlotte and myself crazy, with Fad stuck in the middle.
Wouldn't be the same without them.
