3 weeks of bliss, and it all comes up to this. A screeching halt to what has been one of the best periods of a damned life in this college. The past weeks have I've been so happy with Ainaa by my side, that whatever this college could serve at me,I went on smiling away like a retard.

Well, its all come to a dead stop. By that, I do mean DEAD. Don't worry ladies and gentlemen, we haven't broke up yet, and we're still going strong (which is something to thank the Lord for). What actually happened, so follows.

Coming to the library after Chem lab, I was informed by a mutual friend of Ainaa and myself, Jaslyn, that this Chinese Lecturer apparently warned me about having lunch with Ainaa at our cafeteria this afternoon. " Please the your friend not to do it in public anymore, please. People are watching them". What is 'it'?? Well, 'it' was sitting together in public.

Now, this is the part that gets me. We're being watched. The ustaz and ustazah (thats the equivalent of pastors to Muslims) are watching our every move. Personally, thats fine with me. Obviously they're concerned over what I do with Ainaa.

Well, they're not too innocent. You see, those hypocrites are only watching 3 couples. Myself and Ainaa, Jeeva and Liz, and Nathan and Andri. Yup, you've guessed it!! We're all Indians with a Malay gf. Since the Chinese folk here have enough sense to shun the Malay girls they don't get into this sort of thing. Ok, now, the other clincher.

Now, a Malay couple can get away with rape here if they want to. See, they're not as heavily watched as we are. So, there have been cases (notice the s in case's') where condoms were found all over the place where known Malay couples hang out. What happened? Your guess is as good as mine, but sure as hell they weren't expelled.

Why the double standard? Is this what Islam is about?? The literal meaning of the word Islam is Submisson. I guess this is what they're trying to make us do. Submit. What's up with my skin colour to them, I don't know. But they're watching.
