New Year is around the corner. And to be frank, I haven't been updating my blog because my life (as most people know) is super boring. I wonder how other people's lives have a steady inflow of exciting stuff *Naveen gives his sneer of jelousy*. Anyways, I really should stop complaining and make the most out of my life huh? So here is the list of (I really like doing this huh?) 10 Things I Really Must Do Next Year.......

2005. What happened to it? I was like some sort of magic trick really, now you see, now you don't. Well, eventhough the year passed by like a Ferrari on rocket Fuel, there were still some lessons learnt, experiences undergone, fears confronted, and dreams/goals realized. Ten things I've learn't

Have You Seen God Lately? That was a question the preacher at the Wangsa Maju CoC asked me in his (most excellent by the way) sermon today. Hmm.... Dosen't seem like I've ever given it much thought before this. But, let me start from the beginning. Christmas this year, I decided to take a quick trip to Wangsa Maju to fufill my obligation to the Lord by attending service at Wangsa Maju. It was an experience which I'll fondly look back on over the years with a deep smile on my face. Anyways, I was late (as I always am) so I only got in after almost all the hyyms had been sung (bummer huh?) . But something told me this day was gonna be special. See, after Lord's Supper, I noticed an old man sitting quietly in the chair by the wall. Well, it was really Brother Kim Fatt, who I incidentally haven't seen for almost a year now. I quietly thoght to myself whether he would still remember my name (or the time I bumped him too hard during Basketball). Well, I would know after the sermon ends. The Sermon today was about 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' delivered by Brother Ravi (a man I've come to respect very much). Well, he challenged each and every one of us to be 'Limb Climbers' instead of 'Branch Sitters'. In a nutshell actually, he challanged us to do out part for the Lord so that the Lord's Church would continue to keep on growing. He also mentioned that the idea for the Wangsa Maju CoC actually came from a 12 year old girl in Penang. The Idea didn't come to the smartest, wealthiest, most popular, or most powerfull person in the Church. Indeed (regrettfully) I would have laughed my head off if someone told me that the Idea came from a 12 year old. Well, that really hit home for me. I'm now resolved (Lord Willing) to do everything in my power to spread the Word and to make sure that Seremban CoC grows in faith and numbers as well. After the service, there was a wonderful drama preformed (most excellently) by the Chlidren's Class (really reminded me of my days doing that). Many meetings took place after that. I was fortunate enough to meet up with 'Ol Kim Fatt (he did remember me after all), the always excellent Jun Ai, caught up a bit with Cassandra also (shocked her a bit by suddenly appearing in the seat beside her) and also have a short chat with many a member of the PJ CoC. My mum met a friend she hadn't met in 20 years (can you believe that?). Unfortunately though, I didn't get a chance to thank Bro Ravi for his Sermon and congratulate Sis Irene on a super job well done (could you do that for me Junny? Thanks) . Why am I giving you a blow by blow account on what happened? After deep thought, I saw the Beauty of God in the Church. Looking at the unity of the Christians in the Church and remembering the wonderful bond which all of us share, really touched my heart as a Christian. The love we share, the faith we all live in and the hope we all hold on to. Thats the beauty of being a Christian. So, have i seen God lately? An Abosolute Positive YES!

Wowzers, Jun Ning you continue to impress me day by day. What make me say that? Well, I was kinda bored on the internet so I decided to take a peek at Junny's achive of posts on her Super Blog. Anyways, after picking a date on the achive (using pinky....pinky....ponky method lah, what else?), I happened to stumble across this poem written by this adorable little girl for her sis, Jun Ai. Here goes:

I'm surrounded by hordes of family members for this Christmas. Some people might think this is what Christmas is actually all about, the gathering of half the family around a stuffed, roasted turkey, saying grace and carving the pitiful beast open with a knife (so much for animal rights huh?). Unfortunately for grumpy ol' me, I'm always the loner when it come to socializing with family members. Why? Well, I normally get along just fine with the adults and the cousins my age, most probably because they actually have something interesting to talk about. But, for me the big problem is the throng of five to eight year olds in the family. I've always been the one to admire (only admire because I lack the capacity to do so) good organisation and sistematic order. But when a full blown war of kejar-kejar and aksi gusti terhebat ensures around my ankles *ouch*, nerves of steel (preferably a titanium alloy) are needed to resist the temptation to grab one of those fellas and lock him in a wardrobe (he might even find Narnia in there). A quiet Christmas surrounded with Church members, friends and family(everyone above 12 that is..) is exactly what I need this Christmas.*sigh* Well, you can't win them all huh (although this is one battle I'm longing to win)? So I suppose I'll just have to make the best of what I can huh? Anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS Everyone....
Junny, you and I have the same problem now :)
Booo Hooo....Rainwalked.......
